Course Contents (detailed programme):
Modeling of physical systems with simple examples. Fundamental laws of dynamics. First and second principles of thermodynamics. Work and Energy in mechanics and thermodynamics. Static of fluids and an outline of fluid dynamics. Waves and their propagation. Electrostatic and Magnetostatic theories. Electrical circuits. Electromagnetism and an outline on electromagnetic waves.

Being able to perform:
numerical computations with measure units;
identification of a physical system and its simple mathematical modeling;
solution of simple problems of classical mechanics, thermodynamics and electromagnetism.

Being able to develop new competences in physics through the study of bibliographic material.
